My name is Anne Cheng and I’m a Program Manager within the Microsoft Global Talent Labs team.
I was born in Spokane Washington where as a kid I was encouraged to climb radio towers and take things apart. OK, the radio tower thing wasn’t really encouraged, but there was always something to dismantle. I graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, where I studied Industrial Psychology and Human Resources. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work with some fantastic companies in different sectors and now Microsoft – best yet by far!
Born to WSU Cougs in Pullman, WA, I spent most of my childhood in Redmond, WA, and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science. I joined Microsoft in early 2000 as part of the Legal and Corporate Affairs team that filed and maintained U.S. work authorization for our employees. After a career change, I moved to staffing/recruiting for MSN, Windows Live, Windows Experiences, and now Bing! A few things that give me great joy: Coffee, NFL Football, Retail, The Hills/The City, and Trophy Cupcakes.

Hi, I'm Gretchen Ledgard, founder and editor of Microsoft's JobsBlog. But my big, big project? http://microsoft.com/careers.
Hello all. My name's Janell. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but speak no Korean. I grew up in Washington State but spent a few formative years surviving the wild weather of the Midwest.
I was born on the banks of the Colorado River in a little party town called Lake Havasu City, AZ. I spent 18 years there before my pale skin told me that I was much better suited for the Northwest. I attended college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, where I managed not to get arrested for trespassing after spending about 72 hours straight in my buddy’s dorm room playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (still one of my favorite games, ever).
Hi, my name is Kelly Fife, and I’m the Recruiting Concierge for the Candidate Lobby at our Redmond, WA, campus. I greet candidates before their interviews and help them find awesome stuff to do while visiting the area! I’m pretty sure I found the best job at Microsoft - I get to meet new people every day, play with the latest technology in the lobby (Surface!) and help people experience Seattle while they’re here!
My name is Kenji Yamaguchi and I'm a Recruiter for the Windows & Windows Live engineering teams here at Microsoft. My groups are responsible for a variety of products & services which really serve to enhance the Windows user experience and keep track of all the online "stuff" you care about. If you've ever used products like Hotmail, Messenger, SkyDrive or Photo Gallery - you've sampled the effort and hard work my team is passionate about delivering.
Hello. My name's Marie. I've worked in staffing since 1995 and for Microsoft since 2006. Since joining Microsoft, I've supported the Online Services Division as a Staffing Consultant hiring core tech talent for MS Advertising.
I am a native of Washington. I was born and grew up in the small Western Washington town of McCleary. I attended high school in nearby Elma, WA, and enjoyed the lifestyle that is possible living in a more rural area of the Pacific Northwest. I attended Grays Harbor College before graduating from Pacific Lutheran University.
My name is Matt Aberham and I work on Microsoft’s Online Advertising Platform. I'm focused on hiring software development engineers for our Search and Display advertising platforms.
My name is Ryan Graves and I’m a Staffing Consultant for Office Business Platforms, which is part of Microsoft Business Division.
My name is Sandeep Sood and I support staffing needs for Microsoft's Server & Tools division. I’ve been recruiting at Microsoft since 2008 and firmly believe that the future is Cloud Computing.
My name is Thomas Kohnstamm and I am the editor here at JobsBlog.
I work with the JobsBloggers to bring you insights on life at Microsoft and the job application process. I also profile interesting Microsoft people and places for Microspotting.
I'm a local Seattleite and remember feeling a rush of hometown pride when I first saw Microsoft products abroad in the early 90s.
